Marketplace Rules & Guidelines

1. General Guidelines

• Be respectful to other members of the community.
• Provide accurate descriptions and photos of your items.
• Respond to messages in a timely manner.
• Meet in safe, public locations on campus (e.g., The Powerhouse, Pearsons Hall).

2. Prohibited Items

The following items are strictly prohibited:

• Illegal substances or drug paraphernalia.
• Weapons of any kind.
• Stolen property.
• Academic dishonesty materials (e.g., essays, exam answers).
• Hate speech or offensive materials.

3. Transactions

Beloit Marketplace facilitates connections but does not handle payments directly. transactions are generally cash, Venmo, or CashApp in person. Beware of scams asking for advance payment.

4. Reporting Issues

If you encounter suspicious activity or harassment, please report it immediately toCodemanagement@beloit.edu.
