Who can use Beloit Marketplace?

Beloit Marketplace is exclusively for Beloit College students, faculty, and staff. You must have a valid @beloit.edu email address to create an account.

How do I list an item for sale?

Once you're signed in, click the 'Sell' button in the navigation. Fill out the listing form with your item's details, upload photos, set your price, and submit. Your listing will be live immediately.

Is there a fee to use the marketplace?

No! Beloit Marketplace is completely free to use. We don't charge any listing fees or take any commission from sales.

How do I contact a seller?

When you find an item you're interested in, click on it to view the details. You'll see a 'Contact Seller' button that will allow you to email them directly through their Beloit email.

What items are not allowed?

Prohibited items include alcohol, tobacco, drugs, weapons, stolen goods, and any items that violate Beloit College policies. Please review our Rules & Guidelines for a complete list.

How do payments work?

Beloit Marketplace does not process payments. Buyers and sellers arrange payment directly. We recommend cash or trusted payment apps like Venmo or PayPal for in-person transactions.

What should I do if I have a problem with a transaction?

If you experience issues with a buyer or seller, please report the user through the listing page or contact us directly. We take all reports seriously and will investigate.

How do I delete my listing?

Go to your Dashboard, find the listing under 'My Listings', click the actions menu (three dots), and select 'Delete'. You can also mark items as 'Sold' when they've been purchased.
